A Mourning Dove Story Part 2 - The Release

As a recent post on the blog was about me and my family saving a male mourning dove that was bitten by a cat.Now a month later we were ready for the release!The mourning Dove we named Pidg pronounced pidge we named after a line in the Disney movie Lady and The Tramp  and the line we named him after was "Pidg oh Pigeon."It took pidg quite awhile to decide whether to fly out of the carrier or stay in it for a while.Eventually we Took him out then he flew away!He was sitting on a branch for a while,so we went out to get a bite to eat and came back and he was gone.Later on that day I saw at the bird feeders reunited with his pigeon Friends!
